Really?
Is it really that amazing? Or is it just because of the 3D aspect and the higher ticket-price to see it in 3D that jacked up the final dollar count? Is the movie itself that much better than every other sci-fi film that comes down the pike?
I don't know, even with all the hype about the amazing 3D technology and how beautiful the film is and how James Cameron is the world's most unrecognized genius, I still walked away asking myself what the hoopla was all about.
I guess it's cool to look at for the first 20 minutes until you realize you're not really looking at anything. Kinda like Katy Perry in a diamond-studded dress. At first you're like "Oooh, sparkly" and then you realize "Wow, besides that, there really isn't anything there."
